Say you had twenty pounds of pears...

You could eat a few sliced up with some raw sharp cheddar cheese on the side:



Use about half to make canned spiced pears in brandy syrup (I subbed in rum with excellent results):



Peel and cube a couple and make grain-free banana pear flax muffins:



Do the same to a few more, and you could make two single-serving (grain-free) pear crisps to share with a sweet someone (I used cream instead of the Bailey's):



Peel the remaining pears and slice; dip in pineapple juice (optional), and dry them in a dehydrator:
