In addition to the linky, I'm taking this opportunity each week to write a little bit about a my favorite moments from the past week. I hope you'll feel inspired to leave a comment telling me about your favorite thing(s) that happened this week, too!
These are a few of my favorite things:
Jaymz, Daniel, and I traveled to New York last week for a family reunion of Jaymz's extended family. It was also a celebration of his grandparents' upcoming 40th wedding anniversary. Congratulations, Gary and Rita!
The trip was quick and challenging, but it was so wonderful to be able to see these loved ones we don't get to see very often. I was able to meet and get to know some of Jaymz's family members who I had not met before, which was such a blessing.
Our family stayed at a house on the beach along with my brother-in-law, Kevin, and their step-cousin, Jordan. The house was beautiful, and we all really enjoyed being able to walk out the back door and out onto the beach. Daniel had lots of fun digging in the sand and collecting rocks and shells, and he spent a long time one day throwing rocks in the bay ("feeding the water") with his Grandpa. It was really such a beautiful location for spending time with family. I'm so grateful that we were able to go!

There were so many other wonderful moments in our visit—too many to count (or recount!) here—but I have more memories and photographs to share when I have the time to sit down and write more.
I feel like we're still recovering from the trip (mostly by way of sleep schedules and such) but we really had a lovely time. I only wish we had had more opportunities to visit and spend time with everyone who was there!

One of my favorite moments was seeing Spencer climb up our little toddler castle for the first time. :) He has also been working a lot on walking and I'm enjoying helping and encouraging him.
