Wordless Wednesday: Freezing Fog

Freezing fog: have you heard of this?

Why hello, Daniel!

It's apparently something that happens, you know... like thundersnow.

We had several weeks of intermittent freezing fog (before the recent warm-up of the past week) and I really enjoyed seeing it each morning.

It's exceptionally spiky.

The thing I like most about it, though, is how it illuminates the spiderwebs

as if everyone has simultaneously agreed to decorate for Halloween out of season.

Elaborate, lacy creations

frosted with fog.

Linked up at Wordless Wednesday at Hobo Mama and Natural Parents Network, and at What's New at Vibrant Wanderings. (Also check out photos of Jaymz and Daniel over at A Little Bit of All of It, where Julia recently featured photos of babywearing dads as part of her babywearing series.)

  1. I had no idea that existed. So cool! The spiderwebs are completely amazing! Something I learned about recently and was similarly amazed by is frost flowers. I'd love to experience some of either myself!

  2. I knew that it exsisted, but had never seen it with the spiderwebs. Way cool, and great photos!

Thanks for your comment! I love hearing from you.
