I wore both my kids, and still wear my sweet don ego is not yet one. I have so many great memories of snuggling with my girl, but one if the funnier (and bittesweet) ones was probably the last time I wore her in the ergo and her legs dangled down past my knees :) She was probably almost two but big for her age, and my back just couldn't handle it anymore. Now I snuggle with her out of the ergo :)

I feel like that sometimes with Daniel, noticing how much bigger he is in the carriers than he used to me. Time spent snuggling is always time well spent!
DeleteAwww, what an adorable photo! I wore my eldest in a ring sling, especially while cooking. I wore Sasha in a ring sling a bit and also used a hiking backpack carrier. We still have that one, but I haven't tried Spencer in it yet. And I carry Spencer most of all! I almost always use it to put him down for a nap.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is, once he is asleep I kinda don't want to put him down! I absolutely love having him close enough to kiss all the time!
I can definitely remember days when I didn't want to put Daniel down once he'd fallen asleep...they're just so sweet and cuddly! I really love the "close enough to kiss" part, too.
