Celebrate World Breastfeeding Week!

Tomorrow begins World Breastfeeding Week 2012, and I'm excited to be participating again this year and celebrating along with so many others with Natural Parents Network!

celebrate world breastfeeding week with NPN

We invite you to come along with us to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week, commemorated in more than 170 countries worldwide August 1-7.

Here's how:

  • Check out NPN for a full week of posts on breastfeeding.
  • Write your own breastfeeding-related posts, and link them on the bloghop.
  • Share the word about World Breastfeeding Week! Grab the code below to paste at the end of any blog post you're linking up to tell others about WBW and encourage them to read all the shared posts.

WBW promotes breastfeeding awareness and education. The theme for 2012, the twentieth World Breastfeeding Week, is Understanding the Past — Planning the Future, as we all commemorate 10 years of WHO/UNICEF's Global Strategy for Infant and Young Child Feeding.
From the official site:
Twenty years ago, the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) launched its first World BreastfeedingWeek (WBW) campaign with the theme: "Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative." So much has happened in these 20 years, it is time to celebrate but also to look back, understand what has happened and why. Then plan what more can be done to support all women to be able to optimally feed and care for of their infants and young children.
Let's look back and forward as we give our thoughts and experiences about breastfeeding for this year's WBW! Share your posts in the linky at the bottom, and grab the code from the box to use on your own page. Simply copy and paste the code (in html) at the end of any breastfeeding post. You can add new or old posts about breastfeeding to the linky. The linky will update automatically on everyone's sites as new posts are added throughout the week!

  1. If you've been paying any attention at all to the evolution of Louis Vuitton under the creative direction of Nicolas Ghesquiere, then none of the new cheap air jordan on the brand's Fall 2017 runway in Paris should have come as any surprise to you. This was a collection that built out variations of the Vuitton's existing, successful replica handbags ideas instead of establishing any new themes or dropping any new blockbusters. The collection did include one all-new oakley outlet bag, which was a sharp-cornered day satchel with double top handles and a front lock. It was my least favorite part of the new collection-something about the cheap tiffany trim and proportions made it feel vaguely like something you buy from a cart at the mall. The new top handle version of the City Steamer made up for it, though, as did all the glittery little Petite Malle clutches.

Thanks for your comment! I love hearing from you.
