Having a picnic on the park side. (We biked there, but it's close enough to walk.) |
Looking out at the garden side. |
Yesterday, it rained a little. |
I love roses. (I guess it's a good thing we live in the City of Roses!)

What a beautiful place for a picnic! I love roses, too :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Portland was the city of roses. That is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI think we went to that rose garden after peace camp in mcminnville. so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDelete@Naomi: You all probably visited the bigger rose garden here, the International Rose Test Garden, which is close to the zoo. This one is a city park by my house...but both are very beautiful!
How beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Natural Parents Network!
Is this the one right near the zoo? If so I have pictures of myself as a really little kid in that same park! We used to ride the zoo train there and back, and have been to concerts there, too. Fond memories!
ReplyDeleteLove that last picture -- gorgeous! I love close ups!

@Kristin: Thank you! No, it's not the one by the zoo, this is the one at Peninsula Park. The other one is even more beautiful and has even more roses, but it's not within walking distance from my house. =)
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to have this near your house!!!
