There's a total lunar eclipse tonight, during the Winter Solstice. This is the first time since 1638 that the two have happened on the same night, and the next time these two events will coincide is on December 21, 2094, so don't miss it! I'm grateful to peaceful parenting for writing such an informative article about it today, which served as a wonderful reminder to go out and marvel at the sight.
I'll be outside for a few moments between 11:41PM and 12:53AM PST to see the amber-colored moon.
Will you be looking at it, too? Please, tell me!
The photos from our back porch have already begun... ;)
ReplyDeleteOoh, fun! I'm looking forward to seeing those. =)
ReplyDeleteI didn't end up getting to see it. =( It was too cloudy here last night. Can't wait to see everyone else's photographs of it, though!
