Mostly Wordless Wednesday: When it snows...

I got cocky about the weather in the Pacific Northwest, and then this happened:

This was the last day my lettuce looked pretty
(or was remotely edible).

Personally, I think this hardly counts as "snow,"
but around here, things shut down for this kind of dusting.

Daniel's first snow!

Snuggly little baby bear

Curling league at the ice rink in the mall!

Linked up at Wordless Wednesday at Hobo Mama and Natural Parents Network (where you might just see a photograph of baby Daniel, today).

Very cute shots of Baby Daniel! What does he think of the snow? Has he touched it yet? I have to agree that that is not much snow, but it looks pretty on the lettuce.

There is a pic of Sasha (with me) on NPN, too. :-)

  2. It's amazing how the snow can bring everything to a halt when there are zero snow plows. :) How did Daniel react? He looks snuggly.

I've been afraid to check on my garden…

  3. @Momma Jorje: Yes I saw that photo of you and Sasha, I love all that hair! So precious. Daniel wasn't interested in touching the snow, he was just grumpy about being cold!

@Lauren: The plow situation is really a shame in this part of the country. I think we have two for the whole city.

Daniel didn't seem to notice, really...though he had this scowl on his face every time we were outside. I don't think he's a fan of Winter weather!

  4. heehee. Your comments are cracking me up. The first time I took Layla (now 4) out in the snow as a baby, she was not impressed at all! We just got our first dusting today, and now she can't wait to make a snowman. found you through NPN
