The Beginnings of Mobility

After spending most of his floor time playing with his hands and blankets and swatting at and kicking toys, last week Daniel suddenly showed interest in rolling from back to front:


The next day (Wednesday):


Then he got all tuckered out and fell asleep like that:



Thursday, he was still trying, rattle in hand:




Later in the evening, he rolled from front to back! But, when I tried to get him to do it again, he became frustrated and did this instead:


I guess he was more interested in forward progress rather than merely going sideways.

On Friday morning, he finally made it all the way from back to front and I was able to capture the end results:



It's been pretty exciting around here—and obviously I'm a very proud Momma!
