Did you know that cats have deciduous ("baby") teeth, just like humans? This is something I've learned since we got Eddie. Apparently, they usually fall out without us noticing them, or the kitten will swallow them.

Well, Eddie has his neuter surgery next Monday, and while he's under anesthesia, he's going to have to have some teeth pulled because he hasn't lost most of his baby teeth. Most notably, he is currently sporting four upper canines, which makes him look a little scary:


Next week the extra teeth will be all gone, but until then, we've got quite the vampire kitty on our hands!
