Last night Jaymz and I went to a Regina Spektor concert at the Roseland Theater. It was a really amazing show, and I particularly enjoyed myself because we had reserved seats, so I didn't have to stand the whole time.
Regina is super cute, of course, but what really struck me is that she seemed very humble, very appreciative of the crowd, and a little bit shy. I didn't expect these things, and I found it really refreshing to feel like someone so famous could maintain that type of graciousness and not seem to be changed by the attention.
The whole concert was wonderful, but I particularly enjoyed "Silly Eye Color Generalizations":
